We’re excited to have Luke Miller, Founder & CEO of SLNG, and Nicola Croon, Forward Deployed Engineer at SLNG, joining us to share the launch of UNMUTE, an open, MIT-licensed standard for voice agents. They’ll introduce the thinking behind the project and explore what open, declarative standards could mean for building and deploying voice agents across different runtimes and infrastructure. Their prerecorded presentation will be followed by a live Q&A.
We’re also excited to welcome Shankar Krishnan, Product Leader - AI at Stripe, and Venkata Kolla, Lead Software Engineer at Salesforce, for a joint session titled “Voice AI: From Speech Recognition to Real-World Intelligence, and What CDNs Already Solved.” They’ll explore what happens when voice AI moves from an impressive demo into reliable, enterprise-scale production. Shankar will cover how real-time voice architectures have evolved and the challenges that emerge when moving from prototypes to production, while Venkata will dive into how caching, CDNs, and edge infrastructure can help reduce latency and improve the performance of voice pipelines. The session will also feature a live demo of semantic caching in a voice pipeline.
